The Griffin Technology DJ Cable is designed to be used with iOS mobile devices and enables the Split Output function when using the djay algoriddim app. With Split Output mode enabled, djay sends the master output to the left channel, and the cue output to the right channel. This lets you cue songs through your headphones independently of the mix that's going through the speakers. The cable has connectors for the speaker system, headphones and audio jack for your device.

Pre-Cueing

The ability to pre-cue, or preview, the next track through your headphones is essential for any DJ to seamlessly mix the currently playing track into the next track. This allows for finding the perfect next track, flawless beatmatching, and creating a mix customized for your crowd.
In djay, there are two ways you can pre-cue your tracks: by using the Split Output function paired with a stereo/mono DJ split cable, or by connecting an external sound card or DJ controller.
A proper DJ split cable lets you cue up the next track in your headphones independently from what the crowd is currently hearing from the speakers, allowing for a smooth mix.
DJ split cables can be enabled through djay’s Split Output function for pre-cueing. Optimal features you want to look for are gold-plated connectors for improved conductivity and better signal, as well as a durable exterior for longevity.
Note: A DJ split cable splits your stereo jack into two mono channels. This means your speaker output using this setup will always be mono (using two duplicate mono output channels).
Battery monitoring with the smartphone - with the intAct Battery-Guard you always keep an eye on your battery.
With the intAct Battery-Guard and the free Apple or Android app, you are now able to check the charge status of your battery quickly and easily, because only in a steady, positive battery state of charge, the full capacity and usability is ensured. The positive battery charge condition also prevents possible early damage or a failure of the battery. After the easy installation to the battery by ring eyelets and after downloading of the Android or Apple app, the current voltage value can be retrieved. The transmitter is suitable for 6 V, 12 V and 24 V batteries. The range is about 6 meters. The four-colour, tachometer-like display shows the state of charge in dark green (fully charged), light green (partially charged), orange (unloaded) and red (fully discharged). In addition, the voltage value is represented alphanumerically. When dropping below the minimum voltage a reference will be made to recharge the battery as soon as possible.
By using the app, the voltage of up to 5 batteries can be monitored, obviously an intAct Battery-Guard has to be installed at each battery.
